In 1991, the company Renda Mobil SL was born in Vilafranca del Penedès (Barcelona), which will be known as REBIL.

The founders, Eleuteri José, Joan Parellada and Vicenç Parellada, started the car rental activity in the Alt Penedès area, modestly with two cars and three vans.

In 1992, the company changed the location of its office to improve its service by making it more accessible to customers, a perfect spot for access to and from the city.

It increases the fleet of cars and vans, collaborating with hotels, campsites, rural houses and car dealers in the area, expanding its service area to much of the Costa Daurada, Comarruga (Vendrell), Calafell, Cunit, Vilanova i la Geltru, Sitges, Salou and Cambrils.

Being so, in a short time, a company recognized in its area and recommended to the sector.

In 1999, it is again a year of change, Vicenç Parellada takes over the position as manager, the location of the company is changed again and the office is expanded with a car exhibition for sale, thus creating the shop for the renovation of their own rental cars, known as REBOC (REBIL occasion), located on Av. Barcelona 77BIS of the same town, Vilafranca.

In 2002/2003, REBIL expanded its activity to the same population and created an ironing and bodywork workshop, which will be known as REPLA (REBIL ironing). Intended, as the name implies, for the repair of iron and the construction of bodies, access for customers and for the company’s own vehicles.

In collaboration with different automotive dealers, it offers its rental services in: Vilanova i la Geltrú (Peugeot), Cornella (Mercedes-Benz), Tadadell (Seat), Puigcerdà (Ford) El Vendrell (Volkswagen, Nissan, Peugeot).

In 2004, REBIL opened a car rental office at Carrer València no. 4 (Barcelona), close to Sants station. At that time REBIL had a fleet of about 100 vehicles.

In 2007, Renda Mobil is preparing to expand its project, providing the rental service to more towns in Catalonia. At the end of the same year, REBIL moved to a new office in the same city, specifically at Carrer Bonastre nº 7 Pol. Ind. Domenys l, this being the final to date, which has larger dimensions for exposure of future vehicles available for sale that prevent generating in the renewal of its rental fleet.

In 2008, faced with the situation of the crisis, the founding partners unanimously decided to curb the intentions of the project, facing this crisis by reducing much of the company.

We are currently providing our service with a smaller volume with the utmost professionalism, seriousness and responsibility, committing ourselves to our customers and collaborators every day, in the area of ​​Alt Penedes, Baix Penedes and Garraf.
